7.2.2 Various settings for making copies
To select the copy size
For 2-line LCD models ( ):
1. /COPY /COPY SIZE (repeatedly): "ORIGINAL SIZE"
2. Select the size of your original document. OK/SET
3. Select the size of recording paper size. OK/SET
• When "#2" is selected, you can change the recording paper size by pressing repeatedly.
For touch panel models ( ):
1. Display "COPY SIZE" screen (page 86).
2. "ORIGINAL SIZE"
Select the size of your original document.
3. "INPUT TRAY" Select the size of recording paper size.
Note
• The appropriate zoom rate will be set automatically. When the original document size and recording paper
size are different, the following features are not available:
– Quick ID copy feature (page 92)
– Image repeat feature (page 93)
– Poster feature (page 94)
– Separate N in 1 feature (page 96)
– Booklet feature (page 97)
• When the original size is set to "A5-R", "A6-R", "B6-R(ISO)", or "B6-R(JIS)", the following features
are not available:
– Quick ID copy feature (page 92)
– Image repeat feature (page 93)
– Poster feature (page 94)
– Separate N in 1 feature (page 96)
To select the contrast
Adjust this setting depending on the darkness or lightness of the document. 5 levels (low to high) are available.
For 2-line LCD models ( ):
1. /COPY /QUALITY (repeatedly): "CONTRAST"
2. Change the contrast. OK/SET
For touch panel models ( ):
1. Display "Quality" screen (page 86).
"CONTRAST"
2. Change the contrast. "OK"
Note
• You can hold the previous contrast setting (feature #462).
To select the resolution
1.
: /COPY /QUALITY (repeatedly): "RESOLUTION"
: Display "Quality" screen (page 86). "RESOLUTION"
2. Select the resolution. OK/SET
