Scanner Settings

Setting the Scanning Quality

Documents, whether in Full Colour or Monochrome, are scanned in three-colours.

z Colour mode settings are reset to their factory defaults when:

-The machine is turned Off.

-The Reset key is pressed.

-A scan job is completed.

Select “Basic Menu”.

Set the desired scanning modes.

Quality Adjustment

 Colour Setting

Select the Colour Mode, and then

“OK”.

File Type and Name (see page 32)

Original Size:

When the original size is not correctly

detected, select “Original Size”, and then

select original size and touch “OK” on the

display.

2-Sided Original (see page 34)

Job Build and SADF (see page 35)

Multi-Size Feed:

When scanning mixed size originals, select

“Multi-Size Feed”.

ex. A4 and A3 size originals

Full Colour Mode

Colour Original Three-colours

(Red, Green

and Blue)

Greyscale Mode

Colour Original Greyscale

(Halftone)

Black Mode

Colour Original Monochrome
