Chapter 5 Internet Fax
Sending an Email Procedure
The basic operation to send an Email is as follows:
z Email Addresses and Fax Stations can be mixed while entering the destinations.
Email would be transmitted to an Email Address destination, while normal fax documents would be transmitted
to a fax destination.

Place original(s).

Press the Fax key to open the Fax
screen.
Select “Basic Menu” if additional
settings are required.

z Setting a File Type and a Filename (see

The PDF format can be used only for transmitting
Email to remote computers.
Send Email in TIFF format to an Internet Fax.
z Setting Message Delivery Notice (MDN)

Select “More Menus” if additional
settings are required.
z Emailing a Ledger-Sized Document (see
page 122)
z Relayed Transmission From Internet Fax
(see page 150)
Face Up. Up to 85 sheets
(20 lb / Letter).
Face Down. Align with top left
corner. Close ADF.
Used memory
