Chapter 2 Basic Fax Transmission
Searching for a Destination
Search through the Address Book (Local Search)
Select “Search” to look through the Address Book for the desired destination by the entry name.
z Select “Global” to search fax numbers or Email addresses in the LDAP server (see page 21).
z This feature is available in certain countries only.

Follow the step 1 and 2 on page 14.

Select “Search”.

Enter the first few letters of the Key
Name you are searching for.
The search result appears.
z For instructions on using the onscreen
Keyboard, refer to Before Starting in the
Operating Instructions (For Function
Parameters) of provided CD-ROM.

Select a destination, and then select
“OK”.
z Select or to scroll the search results.
z Multiple destinations cannot be selected at a
time.

Press the Start key.
The original(s) are stored into memory with a
file number. Then starts dialling the telephone
number.
