Search through the LDAP Server (LDAP Search)
LDAP search is a feature that searches through the Address Book on an LDAP server on a network for
fax numbers or Email addresses.
To find out whether the LDAP Search feature works in your particular environment, contact your
network administrator.
z An LDAP server must be configured before the LDAP search facility can be used. For more details, refer to
Fax/Email Settings in the Operating Instructions (For Function Parameters) of provided CD-ROM.
z This feature is available in certain countries only.

Follow the step 1 and 2 on page 110.

Select “Search”.

Select “Global”.

Enter a name or characters to search,
and then select “Search”.
The search result appears.
z Email addresses and fax numbers can be
searched.
z Select “Local” to return to the Address Book
search screen.
z A message appears if there are more than
100 matches.
Select “Yes” to search by a more detailed
keyword.
Select “No” to continue the search.
z A message appears if an error occurs while
searching.

Select “Email”.
