Chapter 5 Internet Fax
What Internet Fax Can Do
This section introduces the functions of the Internet Fax feature.
The Internet Fax feature not only sends and receives Email but also forwards fax documents via a
telephone line and broadcasts them via a relay station.
Sending Email
A scanned document can be transmitted to an Internet Fax or a remote computer as an Email file
attachment. Attached files must be in either of the following formats:
• Internet Fax : TIFF format (TIFF-F)
• Computer : Select either TIFF (TIFF-F) format or PDF format.
