Chapter 9 Solving Problems
While
receiving
Paper out An error massage will appear on the display if
the machine has run out of the paper while
receiving a document. Load paper.
Paper jam If paper jam occurs, an error code is displayed.
Remove the jammed paper.

Paper does not feed. Check if the Paper Tray is loaded with paper.
Load paper as directed by relevant instructions.

• If the Function Parameter “13 Auto Print
JRNL” (Fax/Email Settings > Fax Parameters)
is set to “Valid”, and the machine is printing
the received document(s) from memory, which
also happens to be the 200th transaction, the
machine will not answer automatically until the
Transaction Journal completes printing.
