Shipping Condition
All settings, except for the security levels with corresponding password and the time
settings, are reset to the factory default settings.
Default Settings
All settings, except for the programmed channels, time, country, language and disc
language settings, the security levels with corresponding password and the remote
control code, are reset to the factory default settings.
EPG Update Search Now
Start the search for new EPG programme data manually. Do not switch your unit
off during the update. A message shows that the update has finished.
EPG Download in Standby [On] [Off]
On: If the DVD Recorder is in Standby mode, the EPG programme data are
updated from the satellite Astra 19.2° E during the adjusted time period and then
stored.
Off: Automatic update does not take place.
Software Update in Standby [On] [Off]
On: If the DVD Recorder is in Standby mode, it automatically searches for updated
software during the adjusted time period. The unit display shows the software
update. If the unit is in recording standby, this does not affect Timer-controlled
recordings.
Off: Automatic update does not take place.
Depending on the contents of the update, some of the settings can be reset to the
factory defaults. In this case, readjust the settings.
EPG / Software search period [Automatic]
Automatic: The unit searches for current EPG programme data and new software
once every 24 hours.
[02:00- 06:00; 06:00- 10:00; 10:00- 14:00; 14:00- 18:00; 18:00- 22:00; 22:00- 02:00]
The search for current EPG programme data and new software starts within the
adjusted time period.
Make sure that your unit is in Standby mode during this time.
Software Update Search Now
Start the search for new software manually.
A new software version is announced by a message. Do not switch your unit off
during the update. A message shows that the update has finished.
