Connect the satellite dish to LNB IN of the DVD Recorder.
Connect the COMPONENT VIDEO OUT terminals (Y, PB, PR) of the DVD Recorder
with the COMPONENT VIDEO input of the television.
Connect the AUDIO OUT (L/R) of the DVD Recorder with the audio input of the
television.
Connect the DVD Recorder and the television to the power supply system.
After completing the above connections, the DVD Recorder proceeds with the
Automatic Setup. 18
AC mains lead
The COMPONENT VIDEO OUT terminal can be used for Interlace or Progressive
output and delivers a clearer picture than the S VIDEO OUT terminal.
Connections via these terminals produce the colour difference signals (PB/PR) and
the brightness signal (Y) separately. Colours can be reproduced true to the original
colour.

Televisions with LCD or plasma screen
If your TV supports the progressive process, select the setting [Progressive - On] in the Setup menu. 64
Conventionell televisions
With a conventionell television, progressive output can cause the picture to flicker, even if the television is progressive-
compatible. Select the setting [Progressive - Off]. 64
