∫ Manual Tuning
You can set each channel manually.
1 Select the frequency with [3, 4].
≥Adjust the frequency by checking the signal
strength and signal quality displays.
2 Press [OK] to start scan.
The set channel is displayed in the table.
∫ Update Channel List
You can update the channels to the latest one.
≥This takes about 3 minutes.
“Finished” is displayed when the search is finished.
Press [BACK/RETURN ].
∫ Signal Condition
You can check the quality and strength of signals.
Press [WXCH] to select the channel.

Signal Strength
≥When the signal is too strong (red bar), reduce the
signal amplification at your aerial.
∫ New Channel Message
Set whether to obtain the information automatically
when a new digital channel is added.
∫ Child Lock
You can restrict the viewing and recording of
channels unsuitable to children.
You can lock each channel or AV input.
PIN is required to change. (> 91)
1 Select the channel or AV input to lock.
2 Press [OK].

≥Press [OK] again to cancel.
≥“Red”: Change the input.
≥“Green”: Lock all channel and AV input.
≥“Yellow”: Unlock all channel and AV input.
∫ Preferred Multi Audio
¾ Multi Audio
Choose the audio language for broadcast. If the
selected language is not available, then the
original language will be selected.
¾ Audio Description
Select whether the Audio Description is set to be
active or not.
∫ Preferred Subtitles
Choose the subtitle language for broadcast. If the
selected language is not available, then the original
language will be selected.

≥ After performing “Update Channel List” or “Manual Tuning”
if the channel number has already been assigned, channel
number for the newly tuned channel will be assigned from
800ch onward.
Red bar The signal quality is bad.
Yellow bar The signal quality is poor.
Green bar The signal quality is good.
0 Signal strength is 0%.
10 Signal strength is 100%.

≥ When “Dolby D / Dolby D + / Dolby TrueHD”,
“MPEG” or “HE-AAC” is set to “Bitstream”, the Audio
Description may not work. Set them to “PCM”
(> 97, Digital Audio Output).
