What is VIERA Link “HDAVI Control”?
VIERA Link “HDAVI Control” is a convenient
function which will link the operations of this unit
and a Panasonic TV (VIERA) or an
amplifier/receiver. You can use this function by
connecting the equipment with the HDMI cable.
See the operating instructions for connected
equipment.
When the following operations are performed, the
input channel of the TV will be automatically
switched and the screen of this unit will be
displayed. Additionally when the TV is off, the TV
will automatically turn on.
- When play starts on this unit
- When an action that uses DIRECT NAVIGATOR
etc, is performed
When you set the TV to standby mode, this unit is
also automatically set to standby mode.
• Power off link function does not work when
recording, copying etc.
The following operations make it possible to keep
the power of the unit on and to play music
continuously.
When the unit is directly connected to an
amplifier/receiver.
1 While playing music
Press [OPTION].
2 Select “TV Power Off”, then press [OK].
• Sound may be discontinued for several seconds
when the power to the TV is turned off.
• This function is available with the TV that
supports “HDAVI Control 2” or later.
You can operate this unit with the TV remote
control.
Refer to “PAUSE LIVE TV”. (> 31)
• This function is available with the TV that
supports “HDAVI Control 3” or later.
This function allows you to immediately start
recording the programme that you are viewing on
the TV.
Refer to the TV operating instructions for
operation.
• This function is available with the TV that
supports “HDAVI Control 3” or later.
You can operate this unit using the TV remote
control.
Refer to the operating instructions of the TV about
the buttons that you can use.
• This function is available with the TV that
supports “HDAVI Control 2” or later.
• This unit supports “HDAVI Control 5” function.
“HDAVI Control 5” is the standard for Panasonic’s HDAVI
Control compatible equipment. This standard is compatible
with Panasonic’s conventional HDAVI equipment.
Please refer to individual manuals for other manufacturers’
equipment supporting VIERA Link function.
• VIERA Link “HDAVI Control”, based on the control functions
provided by HDMI which is an industry standard known as
HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control), is a unique
function that we have developed and added. As such, its
operation with other manufacturers’ equipment that
supports HDMI CEC cannot be guaranteed.
• These functions may not work normally depending on the
equipment condition.
• Use the remote control supplied with this unit if you cannot
operate this unit using buttons on the TV remote control.
• The operation of this unit may be interrupted when you
press certain buttons on the TV remote control.

Hvad er VIERA Link “HDAVI Control”?
VIERA Link “HDAVI Control” er en praktisk funk-
tion, som skal forbinde brugen af denne enhed og
et Panasonic TV (VIERA) eller en forstærker / re-
ceiver. Du kan bruge denne funktion ved at tilslutte
udstyret med HDMI-kablet. Se betjeningsvejlednin-
gen til tilsluttet udstyr.
Når følgende handlinger udføres, vil indgangs-
kanal på TV’et automatisk blive valgt og menuen
fra denne enhed vil vises. Derudover vil et slukket
fjernsyn, tænde automatisk.
- Når afspilningen starter på denne enhed
- Når en handling, der bruger DIRECT
NAVIGATOR eller FUNCTION MENU osv.,
udføres
Når du sætter TV’et i standby, vil denne enhed
også automatisk gå i standby.
• Power off link virker ikke, under optagelse,
kopiering osv.

starte optagelse af det program, du ser på TV’et.

Afspilning af musik kontinuerligt, selv efter
TV’et bliver slukket
Følgende indstilling gør det muligt at holde enhe-
den tændt og til at afspille musik kontinuerligt.
Når enheden er direkte forbundet til en forstærker
/ receiver.
1 Under afspilning af musik
Tryk på [OPTION].
2 Vælg “TV Power Off”, og tryk derefter på [OK].
• Lyden kan afbrydes i flere sekunder når strøm-
men til TV’et er slukket.
• Denne funktion er tilgængelig med TV, der under-
støtter “HDAVI Control 2” eller nyere.
Nem betjening, kun med en Panasonic TV-
fjernbetjening
Du kan betjene denne enhed med TV-fjernbetje-
ningen.
Se betjeningsvejledningen til TV’et om de knapper,
du kan bruge.
• Denne funktion er tilgængelig med TV, der under-
støtter “HDAVI Control 2” eller nyere.
• Denne enhed understøtter “HDAVI Control 5” funktionen.
“HDAVI Control 5” er den nyeste standard for Panasonic
HDAVI Control kompatible udstyr. Denne standard er
kompatibel med Panasonics konventionelle HDAVI-udstyr.
