The interchangeable lens (H-FS12032) does not have a focus ring, but you can use manual
focus by operating the camera. Refer to P23 for details.
1 Remove the hot shoe cover by pulling it in the
direction indicated by arrow

2 Turn off the camera and the flash.
3 Slide the flash firmly all the way into the
camera’s hot shoe until it clicks into place.
•
Turn on the camera and the flash when recording images.
A Flash ON/OFF switch
• To remove the flash, pull the flash in the direction of the arrow while
pressing and holding the lock release button

Remove this cover when using the lens
hood.
9 Aperture ring
•
Rotate this to adjust the aperture value.
• If you set the camera to Aperture-Priority AE
Mode or Manual Exposure Mode, the
aperture value of the ring will be enabled.
• If you set the position of the aperture ring to
[A], the aperture value of the camera will be
enabled.
• When the aperture ring is enabled, check if
the aperture value has changed after
attaching or removing the decoration ring.
10 [AF/MF] switch
•
When either the [AF/MF] switch of the lens or
the setting of the camera is set to [MF],
Manual Focus (MF) is enabled.
