Basic Operations
Hold the camera gently with both hands, keep your arms still at your side
and stand with your feet slightly apart.
• Do not cover the AF assist lamp A, microphone B or the speaker C with your fingers or
other objects.
• Be careful not to move the camera when you press the shutter button.
• Be sure to remove the lens cap when recording.
• When taking pictures, make sure your footing is stable and there is no danger of colliding with
another person, an object etc.
∫ Detects orientation of camera (Direction Detection Function)
This function detects the vertical orientation when you
record with the camera vertically orientated.
When you play back the recording, the recording is
automatically displayed in vertical orientation.
(Only available when [Rotate Disp.] (P250) is set to [ON].)
•
When recording with this unit, Direction Detection can be performed even if you are using a
lens that is not compatible with the Direction Detection Function.
• When the camera is held vertically and tilted significantly up or down to record, the Direction
Detection Function may not work correctly.
• Motion pictures taken with the camera held vertically are not displayed vertically.

Savjeti za snimanje dobrih fotograja
Fotoaparat držite nježno s obje šake dok su vam ruke mirno položene sa
strane, a stopala blago razmaknuta.
• Nemojte prekrivati pomoćnu lampicu za automatski fokus Ⓐ, mikrofon Ⓑ ili zvučnike
Ⓒ prstima ili drugim predmetima.
• Prilikom pritiska na okidač nemojte pomicati fotoaparat.
• Obavezno skinite poklopac objektiva tijekom snimanja.
• Neka vaš položaj bude stabilan tijekom snimanja i pazite da se ne sudarite s drugom
osobom ili predmetom.
■Prepoznavanje usmjerenosti fotoaparata (funkcija Prepoznavanja smjera)
Ova funkcija prepoznaje okomitu usmjerenost kada snimate
fotoaparatom koji je okrenut okomito.
Prilikom reprodukcije snimke ona se automatski prikazuje
okrenuta okomito.
(Dostupno samo ako je funkcija [Rotate Disp.] (Zakretanje
prikaza) (250. str.) postavljena na [ON] (Uklj.).)
• Prilikom snimanja ovim uređajem prepoznavanje smjera može se izvesti čak i ako
upotrebljavate objektiv koji nije kompatibilan s funkcijom prepoznavanja smjera.
• Dok držite fotoaparat okomito i znatno ga nagnete prema gore ili dolje radi snimanja, funkcija
prepoznavanja smjera možda neće ispravno raditi.
• Videozapisi snimljeni uz okomito držanje fotoaparata ne prikazuju se okomito.
