4. Picture Quality and Colour Tone Settings
Adjusting the White Balance
Applicable modes:
In sunlight, under incandescent lights or in other such conditions where the colour of white
takes on a reddish or bluish tinge, this item adjusts to the colour of white which is closest
to what is seen by the eye in accordance with the light source.

Press 1 ( ).

Select the White Balance by rotating the
rear dial.
[AWB] Automatic adjustment
[V] When taking pictures outdoors under a clear sky
[Ð] When taking pictures outdoors under a cloudy sky
[î] When taking pictures outdoors in the shade
[Ñ] When taking pictures under incandescent lights
[ ]

When taking pictures with the flash only
[ ]/[ ]
Set the White Balance value. Use to match the
condition when taking photographs.

2 Aim the camera at a sheet of white paper
etc. so that the frame in the centre is filled by the white object
only and then press [MENU/SET].
•
This will set the White Balance and return you to the recording
screen.
• The same operation can be performed by pressing the shutter button.
• White Balance may not be set when the subject is too bright or too
dark. Set the White Balance again after adjusting to appropriate
brightness.

Primjenjivi načini rada:
Kod sunčeve svjetlosti, rasvjete sa žarnom niti ili u drugim sličnim uvjetima gdje bijela
boja poprima crvene ili plave nijanse, ova stavka podešava bijelu boju u skladu s izvorom
svjetla tako da bude što bliža onome što oko vidi.

Usmjerite fotoaparat u bijeli papir
ili neku drugu bijelu površinu da bi se okvir na sredini zaslona
popunio objektom u bijeloj boji i zatim pritisnite [MENU/SET].
• Ovo će postaviti balans bijele boje i vratiti vas na zaslon za
snimanje.
• Istu je radnju moguće izvesti pritiskom na okidač.
• Balans bijele boje možda neće biti postavljen ako je objekt
presvijetao ili pretaman. Ponovno postavite balans bijele boje nakon
što podesite odgovarajuću svjetlinu.
