LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT Lens
The LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens featured on the
FX07/FX01 employs an EA (extra-high refractive
index aspherical) lens, making it possible to incorporate a 28mm
wide-angle zoom into a compact camera. In addition, the Extra Optical
Zoom feature gives you up to 5.5x zoom power* (FX07) or 5.0x zoom
power* (FX01) by magnifying the image (with minimal deterioration) using
the center part of the CCD.
*Actual zoom power varies with the image size and aspect ratio.
Minimal Motion Blur with Intelligent ISO Control
In addition to low-noise shooting at up to ISO 1250* with full resolution, the
FX07 features the world's first** "Intelligent ISO Control" in ISO sensitivity
setting which helps you get blur-free shots by automatically adjusting the
ISO sensitivity (up to ISO 800) and shutter speed according to how much
the subject is moving.

2.5" High-Resolution LCD for Brighter Viewing
With 207,000 pixels, the FX07/FX01's large 2.5" LCD shows bright,
beautiful images that make it easy to frame the perfect shot. The LCD
uses the pixel-mixed readout method, which automatically increases
display brightness when you're shooting a dark scene. The High-Angle
shooting function also provides easier viewing when you're holding the
camera high to shoot over the heads of people in front of you.
Up to 320 Shots Between Battery Charges
Thanks to the energy-saving Venus Engine III* and a long-lasting battery,
the slim DMC-FX07/FX01 takes shot after shot without running out of
power. You can snap as many as 320** shots on a single battery charge.
*FX07 has Venus Engine III, FX01 has Venus Engine Plus. **Measured using CIPA standards. Battery
charge time is affected by storage and usage conditions and the interval between shots.
