Deleting pictures
Playback Mode:
Pictures will be deleted from the card if the card is inserted, or from the built-in memory if
the card is not inserted. (Deleted pictures cannot be recovered.)
●
Use a sufficiently charged battery or an AC adaptor (optional).
●
Pictures cannot be deleted in the following cases:
• Protected pictures
• Card switch is in ‘LOCK’ position. • Pictures not of DCF standard (→32)
●
Motion pictures can also be deleted.
●
To delete all data including protected pictures, perform [FORMAT].
To delete multiple (up to 50) or all pictures
(after step )
Touch [DELETE MULTI] /
[DELETE ALL]
• To use [DELETE ALL] → go to step
Touch pictures to be deleted
• To cancel the selection
→ Touch the picture
again
• To change the screen
→ Touch ▲▼ on the
screen
Picture selected
Press to delete displayed picture
Touch [DELETE SINGLE]
Touch [YES]
• Do not turn off the power during deletion.
Touch [OK]
Touch [YES]
• To cancel → Touch [CANCEL].
• May take time depending on
number of pictures deleted.
• [ALL DELETE EXCEPT
] may
be selected in [DELETE ALL] when
[FAVORITE] is set to [ON] (→74)
and pictures have been registered.
