During the current Covid-19 crisis, below is some relevant key information regarding promoting
a healthier, fresher indoor environment and questions on how our ClimaPure XE system with
nanoe X air purification technology applies to the current crisis.
nanoe X provides 24/7 (or you can also use as needed) air purification and effectively
inhibits odors, allergens and viruses (among other pollutants)
• To run nanoe X in fan mode (without heating or cooling) it’s only approximately
25W/Hour.
• Annually this equates to less $40/annually in most states to run the air purification
functionality 24/7
o exceptions include Hawaii (Hawaii is highest at approximately $70/annually),
Alaska, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island which are a
little higher than $40 annually
• Calculating annual cost
o 219 X local kW/hr rate for annual estimated cost
 (24hrs x 25W x365) / 1000 since it’s kilowatts (not watts)=219
 In many states, it’s significantly less than $40/annually
Panasonic has not tested the effectiveness of nanoe X on COVID-19
• Testing on COVID-19 cannot be done at this time due to security reasons.
Although Panasonic has not tested the effective of nanoe X on COVID-19, below are
some of the viruses that it’s proven effective at inhibiting the activity of viruses.
• Influenza H1N1, Feline Corona Virus, Swine-origin Influenza (swine flu), Bird Flu, and
others
Below are some of the general laboratory testing results as well as laboratory virus
testing results which we can confirm effectiveness at inhibiting the activity of viruses.
• Please note this testing was done in a laboratory setting and results may vary based on
usage, seasonal and environmental factors.
• Our distributors/reps should use the verbiage “effectively inhibits” rather than a
% number in marketing material. Marketing material using a % number has to be
clearly footnoted as below as well as reviewed by Panasonic legal department prior to
using for any marketing or website material.
