You can switch chats when you are chatting with more than one
friend.

Chat Off Record
Q Chat message is saved in Gmail [Chat] label unless you chat off
record.

Ending Chat

Members of the friends list are displayed by online status (Online,
Busy Offline).
Only members with a lot of Emails and chat history are displayed
by priority in some settings. To display all members in the list, tap
xA W [All friends] in the friends list.
