Select behavior upon software update notification
Q To update the software automatically: [Automatic Update]
Q Not to update the software automatically: [Manual Update]
Procedure for Update
When the downloaded software automatically, (software
update available) appears in the status bar.

Open the notification panel W Tap notification
Q If there is any necessary software update, rewriting time is
displayed.

To perform rewriting at set time
[OK]
Q Return to the home screen. Rewriting is started at the set time.
To change rewriting time
[Change start time] W (zZ step 1 in “Scheduled
Software Update” on page 131)
Q Set time to install the update package.
To perform rewriting now
[Update now] W (zZ step 1 in “Updating Software
Now” on page 130)
Q Start rewriting now.
Q Once rewriting is completed, (software update completed)
appears in the status bar.
Q disappears once confirmed.

Q You may do this by tapping the home screen W xA W
[Settings] W [About phone] W [Upgrade features] W [Software
Update].

[Start the software update] W [Yes]
Q Software update is performed automatically once download is
started.
Q If you cancel downloading on the way, the downloaded data
segments are deleted.
