Basic Operation
⿠Ensure that you turn off, close, and take hold of the FOMA
terminal when you install or remove the UIM or battery
pac
k.
⿠You cannot use the UIM (blue) on your FOMA terminal. If
y
ou have that blue one, have it replaced at a docomo Shop.

With the engraved surface of the
connector of the AC
Adapter (option) face
up, plug the connector straight into the
connector terminal until it clic
ks.
⿠ To charge the battery, place the cover of the connector
terminal as illustrated. Pull out the cover of the connector
t
erminal cover to the direction A, and turn it to the direction B.

Pull out the AC Adapter

s plug, and plug it
into a household power soc
ket of 100 V AC.

When charging is completed, pull out the
connector from the connector ter
minal
while pressing the release buttons.
⿠For detaching, pull out the connector horizontally while
pressing the release buttons. Malfunction could result if you
try to pull it f
orcibly.
About UIM
The UIM is an IC card that holds your
information such as phone numbers.
You cannot use the FOMA terminal for
communications such as voice/videophone
calls, i
-
mode, or sending/receiving mail,
unless the UIM is inserted.
