Basic Operation
Before Using
Attaching UIM/ Battery Pack

Remove the LUMIX
Phone panel.
Use both hands to slide the LUMIX
Phone panel part marked with “A”, in
the direction of the arrow (by 2 mm
or more) to unlock and remove it.
⿠Securely hold the FOMA terminal not to let it open and
then remove the LUMIX Phone panel.

Insert the UIM.
With the golden IC surface downward,
push the UIM slowly to the end while
pressing surface.
⿠Take care not to damage the IC.
When you r
emove the UIM
Pull it out slowly while sliding.

Attach the battery pack.
With the arrow mark facing up, fi t
the tab side of the battery pack
to the FOMA terminal securely,
and then push the battery pack
in direction B while pressing it
against direction A.
When you remove the battery
pack
While pushing the battery stopper
in direction A, lift the battery pack
in direction B using the projection
of it.

Attach the LUMIX Phone
panel.
With the LUMIX Phone panel stayed
open about 2 mm, match it to the
groove on the FOMA terminal. Then
while pushing the LUMIX Phone
panel as a whole downward, slide it in the direction of the
arrow to install.
⿠Confi rm there is no gap between the LUMIX Phone panel
and the FOMA terminal.
