European RF Exposure Information
This mobile phone complies with the EU requirements for
exposure to radio waves.
Y
our mobile phone is a radio transceiver, designed and
manufact
ur
ed not to exceed the SAR* limits** for exposure to
radio
-
frequency (RF) energy, which SAR* value, when tested for
compliance against the st
andar
d was 0.496 W/kg.
While there may be diff
erences between the SAR* levels of
various phones and at various positions, they all meet*** the EU
r
equirements for RF exposure.
*
The exposure standard for mobile phones employs a unit of
measur
ement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR.
**
The SAR limit for mobile phones used by the public is 2.0 watts/
kilogram (W/k
g) a
veraged over ten grams of tissue, recommended
by The Council of the European Union. The limit incorporates a
substantial mar
gin of saf
ety to give additional protection for the
public and to account for an
y variations in measurements.
*** Tests for SAR have been conducted using standard operating
positions with the phone transmitting at its highest cer
tified
po
wer level in all tested frequency bands. Although the SAR is
deter
mined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR
le
vel of the phone while operating can be well below the maximum
v
alue. This is because the phone is designed to operate at multiple
po
wer levels so as to use only the power required to reach the
netw
ork. In general, the closer you are to a base station antenna,
the lo
wer the power output.
Declaration of Conformity
The product “P-05C” is declared to conform with the essential
requirements of European Union Directive 1999/5/EC Radio and
T
elecommunications Terminal Equipment Directive 3.1(a), 3.1(b)
and 3.2.
The Declaration of Conformity can be found on http://

t/index.html.
※The European RTTE approval of this product is limited to the use of
the P-05C handset, Battery Pack and FOMA AC Adapter for Global
use (1
00 to 240 V AC) only. Other accessories are not part of the
appr
oval.
FCC Notice
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules.
Operation is subject to the follo
wing two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2)
This device must accept any interference received, including
inter
ference that may cause undesired operation.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the
manufacturer r
esponsible for compliance could void the user
’
s
authority to operate the equipment.
FCC RF Exposure Information
This model phone meets the U.S. government
’
s requirements for
exposure to radio waves.
Y
our wireless phone contains a radio transmitter and receiver. Your
phone is designed and manufactur
ed not to e
xceed the emission
limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal
Communications Commission of the U.S. Go
ver
nment. These limits
are part of comprehensive guidelines and establish permitted levels
of RF ener
gy f
or the general population. The guidelines are based on
standards that were developed by independent scientific organizations
thr
ough periodic and thorough evaluation of scientific studies.
The e
xposure standard for wireless mobile phones employs a unit of
measur
ement known as the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). The SAR
limit set b
y the FCC is 1.6 W/kg.* Tests for SAR are conducted using
standar
d operating positions accepted by the FCC with the phone
transmitting at its highest cer
tified po
wer level in all tested frequency
bands. Although the SAR is deter
mined at the highest certified power
level, the actual SAR level of the phone while operating can be well
belo
w the maximum value. This is because the phone is designed to
operate at multiple po

vels so as to use only the power required
to reach the network. In general, the closer you are to a wireless base
