◎ When repairs are necessitated as a result
of consultation

counter specified by
DOCOMO. Note that

ur FOMA terminal is accepted for repair

ng the repair counter

Fu
rther, note that you may need to wait for
fixing depending on the malfunction state.
■In warranty period
・ Yo
ur FOMA terminal is repaired charge
fre
e in accordance with the terms of
wa
rranty.
・ M
ake sure that you bring the warranty
card
to the counter for repair. If you do
not show
the warranty card, or when
tro
ubles or malfunctions are regarded
to be caused by
your mishandling (the
damages of liqu
id crystal, connector,
etc.), the re
pair cost is charged even
within the wa
rranty period.
・ T
he cost for troubles caused by the use
of dev
ices and consumables other than
those specified by
DOCOMO is charged

n within the warranty period.
■Repairs may not be carried out in the
following cases:
・ W
hen exposure to water is found at
our re
pair counter (Example: When the
moisture
detection sticker has reacted)
・ W
hen, as a result of inspection at our
re
pair center, corrosion is found due to
ex
posure to water, dew condensation, or
swe
at, or when damage or deformation is
fo
und in the circuit board [Repairs might
not be carri
ed out when damage to the
connector terminal (earphone/microphone
term
inal) or liquid crystal, or cracks in the
body are
found.]

n if repair is feasible, the repair cost
is ch
arged when the trouble you suffer

rranty.
■After the warranty period
We
will repair your FOMA terminal on
re
quest (charges will apply).
■Spare
parts availability period
The minimum storage peri
od of the
perfo
rmance spare parts (parts required
fo
r maintaining performance) for the FOMA
term
inal is basically six years after the
closure
of its production. Note, however,
that yo
ur FOMA terminal might not be
re
paired depending on the troubled portions
because of the short
age of spare parts.

⿠Make
sure not to modify the FOMA
term
inal or its accessories.
・ We
might reject to repair depending on
the degre
es of your modification.
The fo
llowing might be regarded as
modifications:
・ To
put stickers, etc. onto the liquid
crystal or ke
ys
・ To
decorate the FOMA terminal using
adhesive
s
・ To
replace the coverings etc. with
those of other than DOCOMO genuine
pro
ducts
・ R
epairs of troubles or malfunctions
re
sulting from the modifications are
charged even within the warranty period.
⿠Do not peel the nameplate off the FOMA
term
inal.
Note that when we
cannot ensure the
contents descri
bed on the nameplate
and there
fore cannot verify the product
confo
rmity to the technical standard, it
might happen that we
at DOCOMO reject
to re
pair the malfunction.
⿠The info
rmation such as about function
settings, etc. might be re
set depending
on the tro
ubles or repairs, or the way
yo
u handle the FOMA terminal. Set the
settings again.
⿠The part
s generating magnetism are
used in the fo
llowing portions of the
FOMA term
inal. Note that if you place
a magnetism
-
sensitive
object such as a
cash card
near the FOMA terminal, the
card
might become unusable.

⿠This FOMA term
inal comes with the
wa
terproof performance, however, if the
inside of the FOMA term
inal gets wet or
becomes moist, immediately turn
off the
power and remove the battery pack; then
visit a re
pair counter. The FOMA terminal
may
not be repaired depending on the
condition.
