Introduction
Caution
■About FOMA terminal
⿠Do not wa
sh the FOMA terminal with a
wa
shing machine or ultrasonic cleaner.
⿠Neve
r charge the battery when it gets wet.
⿠Do not leave
the FOMA terminal with drops
of wa
ter remained on.

ter might enter into the inside of the
FOMA terminal through the keys or hinges.
In cold distri
cts, drops of water on the
FOMA term
inal might freeze, resulting in
malfunction.
If the FOMA term
inal gets wet, keep the
back
cover attached and the connector
term
inal cover closed, drain off the water
(see page 18
), and immediately wipe off the
moisture
remaining on the FOMA terminal
with a clean dry cloth.

oration of the waterproof/

■About the connector terminal cover and
back cover
⿠Do not open or close them with glove
s put
on hands.
Fine dirt
might adhere to the contact
surf
ace of the packing.
⿠Be care
ful that no fibers adhere to the
pack
ing when you try to wipe off moisture
with a clean dry cloth.
⿠Do not peel the pack
ing off. Also do not
insert
something pointed at the head into
the clearance of the connector term
inal
cove
r or back cover.
The pack
ing is damaged, resulting in water
to enter into the FOMA term
inal.
⿠If the pack
ing for the connector terminal
cove
r or back cover is damaged or
defo
rmed, replace them at a repair counter
specified by
DOCOMO.
⿠If the back
cover is broken, replace it with
new
one.
Otherwise liqu
id such as water enters into
the inside of the FOMA term
inal through
bro
ken portions, and an electric shock or
corro
sion of the battery pack could result.
⿠When the FOMA term
inal gets wet with the
connector term
inal cover or back cover left
open, wa
ter enters inside, and an electric
shock
or malfunction could be caused.
Do not use it as is, but turn
off the power,
re
move the battery pack, and then take it to
a re
pair counter specified by DOCOMO.

into the holes on micro
phone, earpiece, or
speake

water drops adhered to them.
It might happen that communications are
disabled.
