Basic Operation
Using Touch Panel
In place of operating the keys in Normal Style, in Viewer Style
you can use the touch pen on the touch panel (display) to
select items, scroll the display and perform other operations.
⿠In Nor
mal Style, you cannot perform any operations by
touc
hing the touch panel.
⿠Before use, peel off the stickers which is stuck on the touch
panel at the time of pur
chase.

⿠In the following cases, the touch panel may not work even
if y
ou touch it. Also, following operations may cause a
malfunction.

eign objects placed on the operation
surface
・ Operation on the touch panel on whic
h a protective sheet or
a sticker is put
・ Do not pr
ess too forcefully down on the touch panel with
your fingers or fingernails or with a ballpoint pen, pins or any
other sharply pointed object.
⿠You might not be able to operate the Touch Panel depending
on the i

αppli program. If this is the case, operate it in the
Nor
mal Style.
Touch Pen
When using the touch pen, touch the touch panel (display)
lightly with the tip of the pen.
⿠When attaching the touc
h pen to the FOMA terminal using its
strap, remove the cap first, and then attach it.
■Removing the touch pen from the cap

Take hold of the cap, turn
the pen countercloc
kwise,
and remove it.
■Attaching the touch pen to the cap

Take hold of the cap, turn the
pen clockwise, and attach it.
⿠Keep turning the pen until it locks into
place.
