Transferring code key
information to the meter
The following description assumes that the meter is pow-
ered on and the Main Menu is displayed.
1 Touch to open the Main Menu 2 screen.
2 Touch Strip Lots to open the related menu.
3 Touch Add if you want to add the information for a
new test strip lot from a new code key. The Add
Strip Lot screen opens.
4 Insert the new code key into the opening of the
code key reader. The LED starts flashing green and
signals that the reader is ready to transfer data.

The code key reader remains ready to send for a few
seconds after it has transmitted data. As a result, you
can perform the following procedure on multiple meters
without having to reinsert the code key.
