9.11 Options for Operator ID Entry
This menu allows you to specify if and how operator login
is performed.
1 Touch the desired option to enable it:
■ Operator Entry
– None: The meter can be used without operator
login.
– Prompt or Prompt (numeric only): Operator login is
required. The Operator ID can be entered manually
via keypad or via barcode scanner.
– Scan only: Operator login is required. Entry of ID via
barcode scanner only.
■ Operator Validation
– None: The operator ID can have any length (up to
20 characters).
– Length: The operator ID must be a specified length
(up to 20 characters). Enter the minimum and
maximum lengths after selecting this option.
– List: The operator ID must be on a list received from
the data management system (DMS).
– List with password: The operator ID must be on a list
received from the data management system (DMS).
Additionally, a password must be entered.
2 Touch to save the settings. If the Length
option is enabled, enter the desired numbers,
or
touch to exit this menu without saving any
changes.
The display returns in both cases to the Setup Menu.
