Enabling TTY
Yo u  can enable your Treo 750 for use with a 
TTY/TDD device. A TTY (also known as a 
TDD or Text Telephone) is a 
telecommunications device that enables 
people who are deaf or hard of hearing, or 
who have speech or language disabilities, 
to communicate by telephone.
Your Treo 750 is compatible with select 
TTY devices. You can connect a TTY/TDD 
machine, headset, or hands-free kit to your 
Treo 750 through the headset jack while in 
TTY/TDD mode. Please check with the 
manufacturer of your TTY device for 
connectivity information. Be sure that the 
TTY device supports digital wireless 
transmission.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN Turn on your phone 
to access your Phone Settings. See Turning 
your phone on..
1 Press Start   and select Settings.
2 On the Personal tab, select Phone .
3 On the Phone tab, select TTY/TDD, 
and then select either On or Off.
4 Press OK .
NOTE When TTY/TDD is on, a TTY/TDD 
icon   appears at the top of the Today 
screen.
Adding Contacts numbers from new 
callers
You are prompted to add contact entries for 
numbers that are not already in your 
Contacts list.
1 Press Start   and select Settings.
2 On the Personal tab, select Phone .
