Waking up the screen and turning it off
Wake up the screen and leave the phone
turned off when you want to use only the
organizer features of your Treo 750, for
example, when you’re on a plane and want
to look at your calendar. You can also turn
off the screen without turning off the
wireless features on your Treo 750. You can
turn your screen on and off by pressing
Power/End .
Making calls from the
Today screen
Your Treo 750 offers several ways to make
phone calls from the Today screen.
IMPORTANT Don’t use slash (/) when
entering phone numbers on your
computer. For example, do not enter
415/555-5555. Your Treo 750 does not
recognize the slash in phone numbers that
are transferred from your computer, and
you cannot select numbers written like this
to make a call.
Dialing from the Today screen
1 Go to your Today screen.
TIP You can set how long the screen stays on.
Press Start, select Settings, select the
System tab, and then select Power. Select
the Advanced tab. Adjust the number of
minutes the phone stays on when idle using
the On battery power setting.
