I can’t open the electronic User Guide.
Make sure you installed the Adobe Acrobat Reader software on the PCS Vision CD. To install this
software, insert the PCS Vision CD in the CD-ROM drive on your computer, select
Acrobat Installer
from the menu, and follow the onscreen instructions.
My PCS Treo 300 will not connect to the Internet using Blazer or my email
application.
1. Check with Sprint to make sure you have subscribed to and activated PCS Vision Services on
your account.
2. Check to make sure your Sprint profile that has your user name appears in the Service pick list
in Network Preferences. From the Applications Launcher, choose
PrefsNetworkService.
My PCS Treo 300 will not dial into my Internet Service Provider (ISP) or my
corporate Remote Access Server (RAS).
PCS automatically provides access to the Internet with the PCS Vision and does not currently
support circuit-switched dial-in connections.
I frequently miss voice calls when I'm using data applications on my phone.
You cannot use the voice features and data features at the same time. Whenever you are
downloading a web page or sending and receiving data, incoming voice calls are directly sent to
voicemail.
My headset doesn’t work.
Make sure you are using a PCS or Handspring headset that is compatible with your PCS Treo 300.
Your PCS Treo 300 is not compatible with three-pin (also called three-pole) style headsets. To see
if a headset is a three-pin headset, count the number of silver rings on the headset pin. A three-pin
headset has two rings.
