9. Once you have set the right amount of paint and jet of paint, direct the device at the surface
which is to be sprayed with paint at a distance of 10 to 30 cm. Press the trigger and move the
device horizontally or vertically at a uniform speed. The faster the movement, the thinner
the coat of paint. Always hold the nozzle parallel to the surface so that no paint tears (noses)
form.
CORRECT WRONG
10. Only release the trigger once the surface has been completely covered by the coating
material. Do not interrupt the spraying process in order to prevent spotting!
11. Only apply one coat of the coating material per spray operation. Let it dry before applying
a second coat. Please follow the information provided by the manufacturer of the coating
material on drying time.
12. To switch off the device, let go of the spray trigger and move the On / Off switch to the
position 0.
13. Clean the device after use as described in the "Cleaning and Maintenance" chapter.
Cleaning and Maintenance
PLEASE NOTE!
Remove the plug from the mains socket before cleaning the device.
Never immerse the basic unit, the mains cable or the plug in water or other liquids.
Do not clean the device with ammable substances whose ash point is below 21 °C.
Never try to remove dried-on paint residues using sharp objects.
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device.
The device must be thoroughly cleaned immediately after each use as dried-up
residues of the coating material can stop the device from working properly. Carry
out the following steps after each time you use the device:
1. Make sure that the mains plug has been pulled out!
2. Unscrew the paint container and empty it.
