BW/2 INITIAL SET-UP

IMPORTANT

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

PacLights ﬁ xtures must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes. Proper grounding is required for safety.

THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE INSTALLATION CODE BY A PERSON FAMILIAR

WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT AND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED.

WARNINGS:

• Make certain power is OFF before installing or maintaining ﬁ xture. No user serviceable parts inside.

• To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sharp objects.

CAUTION:

• For proper weatherproof function all gaskets must be seated properly and all screws inserted and tightened ﬁ rmly. Apply weatherproof silicone

sealant around the edge of the Back Box and/or Junction Box. This is especially important with an uneven wall surface. Silicone all plugs and

unused conduit entries.

Remove the Compact Flourescent Light or Metal Halide bulb CCW (Fig. 1). For the CFL bulb, it is a direct replacement. For the Metal Halide bulb, it

requires the bypass of the Ballast, Capacitor, and Ignitor from the circuit. Refer to Wiring Diagram. If provided, use the Security Cable to ﬁ x onto the BW/2

bulb Tab and at the other end, ﬁ x the Hook onto the Shell (Fig. 2).

Please make sure to bypass the Ballast (along with the Ignitor and Capacitor) before installing the BW/2 LED bulb!

INSTALLATION GUIDE BW Series Generation 2 LED Light Bulbs OPTIONAL FIELD-SELECTABLE CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) OPTIONAL OCCUPANCY CONTROL 1 The Optional 3CCT Function is available for select models of the BW/2 Series. Use the Switch underneath the Plug Cover. Unscrew the Plug Cover (Fig. 3). If needed, use a flathead screwdriver. The CCT Switch allows the user to choose a desired color temperature 3000K, 4000K, 5000K (Fig. 4).
