#82-1163 Off Road Y-pipe, 98-02 LS1. Use with #70-2253, -2255, -2256
Note: This part is intended for off road and racing applications only, and does not conform to federal
or state E.P.A requirements. This part is designed to work in conjunction with Pacesetter Long Tube
Headers.
1. Once header installation is complete raise vehicle and support with jack stands or ramps of sufficient
load capacity.
2. Install driver's side of Y -pipe first, slip inlet onto header collector outlet and into stock exhaust system
(note you will need to measure and cut stock exhaust for proper fit at this point) install supplied clamps on
both ends and snug but do not tighten at this time.
3. Next install connector pipe on passenger side onto header collector and into "Y" section. Using bolts
provided attach to factory hanger bracket Position all components for proper clearance and progressively
tighten from front to rear of vehicle.
4. Re-install factory 0-2 sensors and double check system for fit and clearance. Lower vehicle start engine
and check for leaks. Check and re-tighten fasteners as needed.
