CAUTION: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS THROUGHLY BEFORE INSTALLATION
1. Jack up front end of truck and SECURE WITH JACKSTANDS. Disconnect battery. WARNING: NEVER USE
FACTORY BUMPER JACK AS THEY ARE INTENDED FOR EMERGENCY USE ONLY.
2. Remove air cleaner assembly.
3. Remove EGR pipe clamp at rear of cylinder head. Now remove EGR pipe from the intake and exhaust
manifolds.
4. Separate exhaust pipe from manifold.
5. Remove manifold heat shield and heat stove.
6. Remove manifold retaining nuts and remove manifold.
7. Install header using existing nuts and gasket provided. Tighten nuts, working from middle towards outsides.
8. Re-install heat stove and shield, if so equipped.
9. Re-install EGR pipe and clamp onto rear of cylinder head.
10. Re-connect air cleaner assembly and battery. Start engine and check for leaks. Installation is complete.
NOTE: Check and re-tighten all fasteners and clamps after a few days of operation and thereafter on
a periodic basis.
