Connect the cable service here.
1394
Connect to a TV with a 1394 port or to any other 1394-compatible device.
COMPONENT VIDEO
If your HDTV does not have an HDMI connector, connect your HDTV here.
AUDIO OUT
Connect to the L and R audio inputs on your stereo TV, stereo VCR, or optional stereo amplifier.
DIGITAL AUDIO
Connect to the optical digital audio input on optional digital audio equipment, such as an audio decoder or home theater
receiver.
HDMI Out
Connect your HDTV here for a digital audio/video connection (instead of using the component video connectors).
HDMI In
If this connector is enabled by your cable service-provider, you can connect another HDMI device (allowing that device’s
output to loop through the set-top to the TV).
CableCARD module
Removal will interrupt your service.
USB port
If this port is enabled by your cable service-provider, you can connect compatible optional equipment that supports a USB
2.0 interface.
eSATA
If this connector is enabled by your cable service-provider, you can connect an optional external hard disk.
ETHERNET
If this connector is enabled by your cable service-provider, you can connect your set-top into an Ethernet home network.
+15V POWER
Connect your set-top’s power supply unit here. Make this connection last of all.
