Installing your gateway 2
Use the information in this chapter to connect your gateway to the Internet and to your
home network.
To install the gateway, complete the following steps:

Connecting the power adapter
The power adapter supplies power to your gateway. Always use the power adapter
that was packaged with your gateway because it matches the power requirements of
your gateway and it complies with local requirements.
1. Connect one end of the power adapter to the power port on your gateway.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to an electrical outlet.
After your gateway is powered on, the POWER indicator blinks green for a moment
and then turns steady green.
