2.6 IF Cable Run
A single coaxial cable is used to connect the ODU to the Remote ATM IDU. The cable carries transmit IF
signal, receive IF signal, telemetry, 10 MHz reference signal and DC power between the IDU and ODU.
The IDU and ODU contain "N" type female connectors for interconnection of the coaxial cable.
Double screened LMR-400 coaxial cable is recommended to provide good EMC performance and possess
the following characteristics as shown in Table 2-1:
