ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Spread tent out flat, floor side down. Unzip the doors to allow air to
enter the tent during set up.
TO IMPROVE THE WEATHER RESISTANCE OF YOUR TENT, IT IS ADVISABLE
TO USE SEAM SEALER TO COAT ALL EXPOSED SEAMS. YOU SHOULD APPLY
ONLY TO THE INSIDE SEAMS OF THE TENT AND UNDERSIDE OF THE TENT
FLY. IF APPLIED TO THE OUTSIDE SEAMS, DISCOLORATION OF YOUR
TENT MAY OCCUR. SEAM SEALER IS AVAILABLE IN THE CAMPING SECTION
OF ANY LOCAL SPORTING GOODS STORE.
IMPORTANT: WE ADVISE YOU TO ASSEMBLE THE TENT ONCE BEFORE
GOING CAMPING TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE ASSEMBLY OF THE TENT.
TO PROLONG THE LIFE OF THE TENT FLOOR, SELECT A LEVEL, CLEAN AREA
FOR THE CAMPSITE. TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ZIPPER, UNZIP THE
DOORS TO ALLOW AIR TO ENTER THE TENT.
Tent should appear
as shown.
NOTE: To take down tent, follow steps above in the reverse order. Be sure to leave
doors and windows unzipped. Make sure tent is clean and dry before
storing. Place stakes into stake bag and poles into pole bag, which are provided.
The tent should be folded into equal parts toward the center of the tent to distribute
the bulk. Fold fly and lay on top of tent. Start a small tight roll, the width of your
carry bag, at the end opposite the doors. Roll tent around the pole bag toward doors
to allow air to escape. Once rolled, tie a string around tent to hold in place. Place
tent and stake bag into carry bag.
MODEL NO. W961.3 10 Person Yurt Camping Tent
NOTE: PLEASE LOOK AT THE REPLACEMENT PARTS DIAGRAM TO SEE
HOW YOUR FRAME IS ASSEMBLED.
STEP 11: Connect the two door frame poles together
at the peak of the door frame and insert the upper
curved section into the pocket located on the inside
of the tent just above the vertical door zipper.
Note: It is recommended to work through the assembly steps with 2 adults.
STEP 2: Stake the tent to the ground by inserting tent stakes
through the webbing stake loops at the base of the tent. Hammer
the stakes into the ground at a 45° angle to the tent, making
sure the tent floor is pulled out even. Stake down
opposite
corners working around the tent pulling out the floor
until it is
tight.
STEP 3: Extend the six steel poles, by
pulling out each wire-corded section
and placing the jointed ends into the
connected pole sections. The two longest
poles are the main center poles (A & B)
There will be two pairs of poles for the
front and back door frames (D & E) as
well as a pair of adjustable poles for the
center of the tent. There will also be a
pair of non-extendable leg poles(C) that
will attach to the end of the main poles.
STEP 6: With the poles and tent still lying on the ground
insert the straight end of the pole into the pre-bent section
of the steel pole at the peak of the tent.
STEP 7: Tie the fabric ties at the top of the tent around the
brace on the pre-bent pole section at the top of the tent.
STEP 8: With an adult at each side of the tent, insert the leg poles
(C) into the lower ends of the two main poles. Make sure the guy
ropes are on the outside of the leg poles.
STEP 9: Each adult should slowly lift up on the steel poles
and while raising the center of the tent, place the bottom of
the steel poles onto the fast feet located at the base of the tent.
STEP 10: Place one pair of the door frame poles (D & E) on the floor of the tent
just inside the door. Enter the tent and lift the entry area. Place the straight end
(opposite the curved end) of the door frame pole (D) onto the fast foot located
on the floor of the tent at either side of the door. Working your way up the pole
attach the fabric ties just below the pre-bent section.
STEP 12: Place the end of the second pole onto the fast foot at the opposite
side of the door. Working your way up the pole attach the fabric ties just below
the pre-bent section.
STEP 13: Guy ropes are needed to hold the door awning in place.
Exit the tent and extend the guy rope on the awning just above the
door. Make a loop at the opposite end of the guy rope by using
slider as shown and place loop over a tent stake. Adjust the slider
to make guy rope snug and stake to the ground at a 45° angle.
STEP 14: Extend the guy ropes on each side of the door
and stake to the ground. Adjust the guy ropes to be snug.
The door frame should not be tensioned beyond vertical.
STEP 15: Repeat steps 10-14 at the second door.
STEP 16: Extend the two guy ropes at the two sides of the tent to add tension to
the main poles. Adjust the slider to make guy rope snug and stake to the ground.
STEP 17: Work your way around the tent adjusting the tension on guy ropes
making them snug with even tension on all sides of the tent.
STEP 18: There is a mud mat attached to the front of the tent to help keep your
tent floor clean. Insert the stakes through the webbing loops at the front corners
of the mud mat and stake to the ground.
