NOTE: To take down tent, follow steps above in the reverse order.Be sure
to leave door unzipped. Place stakes into stake bag and poles into pole bag,
which are provided. The tent should be folded into equal parts toward the
center to distribute the bulk. Fold fly and lay on top. Start a small tight roll,
the width of your carry bag, with the pole bag placed at the end opposite
the doors. Roll tent toward doors to allow air to escape. Once rolled, secure
with strings or rope and place into carry bag. MAKE SURE TENT IS CLEAN
AND DRY BEFORE STORING.
TO IMPROVE THE WEATHER RESISTANCE OF YOUR TENT, IT IS ADVISABLE
TO USE SEAM SEALER TO COAT ALL EXPOSED SEAMS. YOU SHOULD APPLY
ONLY TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE FLY AND INSIDE SEAMS OF THE TENT.
IF APPLIED TO THE OUTSIDE OF SEAMS, DISCOLORATION OF YOUR TENT
MAY OCCUR.
STEP 1: Spread tent out flat, floor side down.
STEP 2:
Extend the fiberglass frame poles
by pulling out each section and placing
ends into the metal ferrule connectors. You
will have three poles. The two longer poles
are the main tent poles(A) and the shorter
pole is for the fly(B).
STEP 3: Slide each fiberglass tent pole (A) through the sleeves on the top of
the tent roof. Lay the fiberglass frame sections across the tent forming an “X”.
STEP 4: Starting at the back of the tent, insert the poles into the
pins located on the rings at the corners of the tent. To raise tent,
repeat the same procedure at the front corners of the tent, flex
the fiberglass poles into an upward position, forming two arches.
NOTE:
As poles are raised, make sure metal ferrules do not catch on the sleeves.
STEP 5: Locate the fabric ties attached to the center of the tent
roof and tie around the poles.
STEP 6: Clip plastic hooks to frame.
STEP 7: Stake down tent by inserting tent stakes through the pin
ring at each corner of the tent. Hammer stakes into ground at a
45° angle, by using a hammer or mallet. Make sure to pull tent
out even and tight.
Tent should appear
as shown.
STEP 8: Unfold the fly. Place fly over the tent and attach the
hooks on the fly to the pin rings at the tent corners.
NOTE: When placing the fly on the tent make sure the pole sleeve on the fly
is located over the front door.
STEP 9: Fasten the Velcro fasteners sewn to the fly around
the fiberglass tent poles.
STEP 10: Insert the fly pole into the sleeve at the very front
edge of the fly, over the front door. Flex the fly pole and insert
each end into the reinforced grommets located on either side
of the front door.
STEP 11: Guy lines are attached to each corner and rear
of fly for additional stability. Extend the guy lines and make
a loop at the opposite end by using the slider (as shown)
and place loop over stake. Stake to the ground and adjust
slider to make guy line tight. Repeat this step with the remaining guy lines.
NOTE: There is an attached mud mat that should be unfolded in front of the
tent door to help keep your tent floor clean. A mesh gear loft is included with
your tent to attach to the tent ceiling to hold small camping items within easy
reach.
Tent should appear
as shown.
