Signal strength indication
You can call up the signal strength indication in the submenu “Extras” of the main
menu. You can assess the signal strengths from the presented vertical columns. The
C/N value gives the same values in dB.
The three coloured fields associated with the columns give information on the status of
the various stages of the receiving components. Only if these three fields are green, will
applicable data from the signal be acquired and only then can a picture be presented.
Note: The signal strength depends not only on the setting of your receiver unit, but also
on the directly activated channel. Take note of this, if you, as a result of the signal
strength indication, check the alignment of the antenna.
