EPG - electronic programme guide
Some, but not all, of the channels available offer an electronic programme guide to show
up information about the currently transmitted content as well as future content that will
be transmitted soon.
The Oyster Digital decoder is able to handle EPG information up to 64 days in front, if
such information is transmitted. Any information presented on the satellite is recognized
automatically by the decoder and stored internally.
To display the given information, you just need to press the EPG button on your remote
and any available information will be presented on screen.
Please ensure that under Main menu Æ Edit settings Æ Time Zone the correct value has
been set. (+10:00 for Queensland, different figures for the other states). Please ensure
correct summer time setting (if applicable).
The status panel
When you select a transmitter, the title and a short description text of the current
transmission will appear in the status panel if presented by the providing TV station. For
further information please call up the EPG.
