STEP 7
Wrap plumber’s tape clockwise 3 or 4
turns around threaded end of shower arm.
STEP 8
Screw the diverter clockwise onto the
taped portion of the shower arm. Wrap
plumber’s tape 3 turns around threaded
ends of the diverter. Hand tighten only.
STEP 9
Drill pilot holes using marks on ceiling
using 1/8" drill bit and power drill.
STEP 10
Remove covering from adhesive strips on
mounting plate.
STEP 11
Hold mounting plate near the pilot holes
with the “A” side facing down and toward
the shower wall, directly above the shower
arm, ensuring the guide holes align with
the pilot holes. Gently apply pressure to
the mounting plate to temporarily secure
the mounting plate to the ceiling during
installation.
STEP 12
Using a screwdriver, install supplied 1.5"
screws through mounting plate guide holes
and into pilot holes.
STEP 13
In a clockwise direction screw rain shower
head onto RainBar housing. Hand tighten
only.
STEP 14
Holding the RainBar with installed rain
shower head away from shower wall, align
edge of RainBar housing with edge of
“A” side of mounting plate. Push housing
onto mounting plate, then gently slide the
housing toward wall until fully seated on
mounting plate.
STEP 15
Holding the set screw in one hand and
hex key in other hand, place set screw into
hole located in the middle of the RainBar
housing. In a clockwise direction, install set
screw with 3 or 4 rotations until flush with
housing.
