INSTALLATION: DRYWALL / TILE WITH STUD

††RainBar is intended for use with a shower head only. No other objects
should be installed or hung from the product.
STEP 1
Cover drain prior to
RainBar installation.
Using a stud finder, locate
a stud in ceiling above
shower arm. Mark the
location of the stud using
a pencil.
STEP 4
Using included 30" hose,
place end of hose to the
marked hole location
closest to the shower
wall and place the other
end of the hose near the
end of the shower arm
to ensure hose will reach
when installed.
STEP 2
Remove mounting plate
from RainBar housing by
applying light pressure
and sliding mounting
plate from housing.
STEP 5
Remove your existing
shower head by turning
the shower head in
a counterclockwise
direction.
STEP 3
Place the mounting plate
on ceiling with the “A” side
facing down and toward
the shower wall above the
shower arm, then mark
the hole guides near the
mounting plate’s “A” and
“B” sides using a pencil.
STEP 6
Remove any remnants of
old plumber’s tape and
flush out shower pipe for
5 to 10 seconds.

Washers must be inserted into
both hose ends for proper
installation.

USING THE DIVERTER
To change the shower spray: Place your index
finger on one lever and your thumb on the other
lever and rotate either clockwise
or counter clockwise
(depending on the current
position) until you feel it click
into place.
