STEP 7
Screw the diverter clockwise onto the
taped portion of the shower arm. Wrap
plumber’s tape 3 turns around threaded
ends of the diverter. Hand tighten only.
STEP 8
Drill holes using marks on ceiling
using supplied 7/32" drill bit and power
drill.
STEP 9
Insert wall anchors into ceiling holes. If
necessary, gently tap each wall anchor with
rubber mallet until wall anchor is flush with
ceiling.
STEP 10
Using a screwdriver, install supplied 1.5"
screws into each wall anchor until fully
seated then uninstall each screw. Wall
anchors will remain in ceiling.
STEP 11
Remove covering from adhesive strips on
mounting plate.
STEP 12
Hold mounting plate near the installed
wall anchors with the “A” side facing down
and toward the shower wall, directly above
the shower arm, ensuring the guide holes
align with the installed wall anchors. Gently
apply pressure to the mounting plate to
temporarily secure the mounting plate to
the ceiling during installation.
STEP 13
Using a screwdriver, install supplied 1.5"
screws through mounting plate guide holes
and into installed wall anchors.
STEP 14
In a clockwise direction, screw rain shower
head onto RainBar housing. Hand tighten
only.
STEP 15
Holding the RainBar with installed rain
shower head away from shower wall, align
edge of RainBar housing with edge of
“A” side of mounting plate. Push housing
onto mounting plate, then gently slide the
housing toward wall until fully seated on
mounting plate.
