About Fire Ants:
Fire ants infest lawns, ornamentals and ower beds. They form colonies near buildings and occasionally feed on
plant materials in your yard — they thrive in hot, dry weather and sunlight but do adapt to colder climates.
They often invade compost or mulch beds seeking warmth, though they can build mounds in any type of soil,
and can dig deep underground — exceeding six feet.
Average colonies contain approximately 250,000 workers, hundreds of reproductive males and females,
and one queen. Some have multiple queens, which can live seven years or more,
increasing the number of mounds per acre.
The worker ants live ve weeks.

Control is optimized by combining the mound and
broadcast applications.

• Treat mound and an area 4ft in diameter
around mound with 1/2 cup of product
• Then apply 1 to 2 gallons of water over
the mound

Treat the entire lawn area to prevent re-infestation
of re ants from neighboring areas.
How to Apply:
• Use a drop or broadcast spreader

A: Apply product to your lawn, ornamentals, owers,

Q: When is the best time to apply
Over'n Out!® Advanced product?
A: Apply during the morning or early evening when it
is cool and the ants are most active, foraging for food.
While early spring is the best time to treat, you can
apply the product anytime during the year if you
notice the presence of re ants in your yard.
Q: Do you need to water-in after application?
A: Yes, control is achieved when Over'n Out!
Advanced product is watered in after application.
Q: Why use a broadcast treatment of
Over'n Out!® Advanced product?
A: When a queen survives, the colony 'relocates' their
mound a short distance from its original location. A
broadcast treatment prevents this from happening, as
well as re-infestation from outside colonies.
Q: Can Over'n Out!® Advanced product be used as
a mound treatment?
A: Yes, mound treatment will control the mound
within 15 minutes. Control is optimized by combin-
ing broadcast applications that control foraging
workers and newly mated y-in queens with mound
treatment that will control exiting colonies.
Q: What are the active ingredients in
Over'n Out!® Advanced product?
A: Over'n Out!® Advanced product contains 0.20%
Bifenthrin and 0.05% Zeta-Cypermethrin, an
ecacious combination active for imported re ants.
Q: How does Over'n Out!® Advanced product
control re ants?
A: Over'n Out!® Advanced product is a pyrethroid
insecticide that aects the nervous system of insects
and causes paralysis, when it comes in contact with
re ants.
Q: How do I store Over'n Out!® Advanced product?
A: Keep out of reach of children and animals. Store
in original containers only. Store in a cool, dry place,
preferably in a locked storage area and avoid
excess heat.
