Carcinogenicity Bifenthrin: Not recognized as carcinogenic by Research Agencies (IARC, NTP, OSHA, ACGIH). Did not show carcinogenic effects in animal experiments. Cypermethrin caused an increase in benign lung tumors in mice, but not in rats, and was negative for genotoxicity.
