COFFEE GRINDER PARTS BEFORE FIRST USE Clean the cover, bowl, and blade as described in the “Care and Maintenance” section. USING THE COFFEE GRINDER Place the unit on a sturdy countertop. • Remove the cover by lifting it up. Fill the grinding chamber with the amount of coffee needed for the number of cups you plan to brew. Place the lid on the grinder base.
• Plug in the grinder. • To start grinding, press and hold the PULSE button. Release the PULSE button to stop grinding. NOTICE: Do not operate for more than 30 seconds at a time. After 30 seconds of continuous operation, allow the unit to rest for 30 seconds. NOTE: The Coffee Grinder will not operate unless the cover is in place. • The coffee will be ground fine or coarse depending on the amount of grinding time. For example, a coarse grind would require less grinding time than a fine grind.
NOTICE: Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners or pads (metal scouring pads) on the Coffee Grinder. Hand wash the cover with soapy water or place it on the upper rack of a dishwasher for cleaning. Clean the bowl and blade with a clean, wet, soapy sponge. Rinse the bowl and blade, but do not immerse the base in water. Gently pat the bowl and base dry using a clean, dry cloth. CAUTION: Clean the bowl and blade carefully to avoid personal injury. Wipe the base with a damp cloth to clean.
