VERASENSE FOR EXACTECH EQUINOXE INSERTION
STEP 1
Determine desired VERASENSE for Exactech Equinoxe
thickness and attach the appropriate shim as needed.
STEP 2
Insert VERASENSE for Exactech Equinoxe
• To insert the VERASENSE for Exactech Equinoxe
humeral
trial sensor, the underside asymmetric-connecting feature
should be appropriately aligned and the liner/tray trials
should be pressed together until the C-spring engages.
This technique is the same as the standard humeral trial liner
insertion and removal, additional details for this can be found
in the “EQUINOXE
®
PLATFORM SHOULDER SYSTEM
OPERATIVE TECHNIQUE”
CAUTION
DO NOT utilize excessive force or impact VERASENSE
for Exactech Equinoxe directly with a mallet.
Excessive impaction force may damage or negatively
impact function of
VERASENSE for Exactech Equinoxe.
