NOTE: Underwriters Laboratories (UL) does not require all fixtures to have ground wires.
These fixtures meet all UL specifications.
1. Turn off power at circuit box to avoid possible electric shock.
2. Secure mounting bar (C) to outlet box (D) with outlet box screws (E) (not included) (see fig. 1).
3. Thread hex nut 1 (F1) onto mounting nipple (L) approximately 1/4 inch and insert lock
washer 1 (H1), then thread mounting nipple (L) onto mounting bar (C) and secure with hex
nut 1 (F1).
4. Thread wires from back socket nipple (G) on socket (Q) through hex nut 3 (F3) and
off-center hole in back plate (B), then through lock washer 2 (H2) and secure with
hex nut 2 (F2).
5. Identify color coding of fixture wires (see fig. 2).
6. To connect wires, take black fixture wire (group A from fig. 2) and place evenly against
black outlet box wire. Do not twist wires.
7. Fit wire connector (I from fig. 1) over wires and twist until there is a firm connection. If
wire connector (I) easily comes off, reattach and check again for a firm connection.
8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 with the white (group B from fig. 2) fixture and outlet box wires.
9. Partially thread green grounding screw (J) into side hole (K) on mounting bar (C)
(see fig.1.)
10. Wrap ground wire from fixture around green grounding screw (J), leaving enough
excess wire to then connect ground wire and outlet box wire with wire connector (I).
11. Tighten green grounding screw (J). Do not over tighten.
12. Tuck wires inside outlet box (D) (see fig. 1).
13.Position back plate (B) over mounting nipple (L) protruding through center back plate
and secure knob nut (M) onto mounting nipple (L).

FIXTURE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning: This fixture is for indoor use only.
1. Install lamp(s). Do not exceed recommended wattage.
2. Place rubber washer (O) and diffuser (N) over front socket nipple (P) and secure with
cap nut (A).
3. Turn power back on at circuit box.
