Using the PLB in an emergency
Do:
• Keep PLB flat with antenna vertical
• Try to place PLB where it has a clear view of
the sky
Don’t:
• Obscure or hold the antenna
• Place PLB next to large metal objects
• Submerge antenna
Ideal position for PEPIRB in open area
